Another topic that we should be posting for a good long while. What was THE BEST DISCO REMAKE OF AN OLD SONG?- There are hundreds of songs that fit into this category. I will get things started with three.
1) RUNAWAY by Arpeggio
2) THAT OLD BLACK MAGIC by The Softones
3) BRAZIL by The Ritchie Family

I just remembered that SIXTY MINUTE MAN by The Trammps was a remake of an old soul song. Can you tell me who sang the original?

This is a different one TECHNO-LUST remade WOMAN by Barabbas. Circa 1983 or so. Both are great versions. With Techno-Lust more Freestyle.

I got an idea, lets make millions of bumper stickers that say,"ROCK SUCKS". They have taken some great disco music, and throughly butchered them. It is incredible that they have reached a new level of crap! This is really terrible! I don't mind rock, as long as it is good. But this?? OOHH, I feel sick!

Pete, I feel the same way! They ridiculed us, they blew up our records and now suddenly they are discovering that Disco actually had songs, good songs?
I could never stand those rockers, they were jealous of us, we got the classy women, they couldn't!
Disco Rules! Rock Sucks! And that's the way it is!
So, let's move on with real DISCO!
This one is pretty recent and drives on a very famous bass-line!
Can you guess which one?
