My very first reaction was WTF! But I always listen, at least once. Then I heard a song I never, never EVER heard of. I was thinking that this was a test, by MAN or GOD of my patience. Well, surprise, surprise: I like the song. Loved the horns, the lead vocals were soulful and solid, and it had a great break in the middle. The chorus was playful and catchy. I am serious! If I would be at a Club, I would occasionally play this song in Sleaze time or early in the night. MAN, I will give you credit. A good Song For The Day!!

DISCO!! Great, absolutely fantastic. I love it! This is the first time I heard this version. It sounds very little like the original. In fact, only the vocals are from the Era. The music was totally different. Leaves it wide open for many possible mixes. What is next?

Well MAN, you just lost the dance floor. Everybody cleared out. Your song selection was not as good as what you were playing. This song was below average, less then a "filler". You got to change songs quickly and get them dancing again! Sorry!

MAN!! Watch Out!! Everyone's running to the dance floor at once. It looks like a STAMPEDE!! They heard LOOKING FOR LOVE, and dropped their drinks, tripped over one-another running to the dance floor. They reacted like that every time that song was played. One of the real under-rated songs of the Disco era. The late FAT LARRY had a winner in this hit! Even though he is from Philadelphia, his was not the same PHILLY SOUND we are used to. FAT LARRY gave us stronger, steadier drum beats that maintained the Dance Floor. Great comeback song MAN!!

Ok I was intend to put another song today but I put that Fat Lary's Band song , but I will post also the other one too , it's one song I like very much I never listen to it one time always many time each time it's SOULED OUT INTERNATIONAL Feat Sarah Warwick - Shine On (The Joey Negro Mix) it's completely different than the original one Joey Negro gave it everything and relive it , I searched for this version for a long time until I found it , listen to it , if you have only the original one and you never heard this version just try it and you will know what I am talking about

MAN!! Go get your VISA, you are getting good! You keep this up, and you may have to come to The Ranch House!! THIS SONG would be a PERFECT mix with FAT LARRY'S "Looking For Love". I have never heard this song before, and I like it. It sounds like Vince Montana meets Gino Soccio. But more impressive, is that it would have made a perfect mix my friend! Now at the 5:10 break in the song, you could mix OUT, what are you mixing next!!?? Congratulations MAN, great job!! Great song!! Would be a Great MIX!!

Hi Man,
Great selection and lots of nice and different music...
Fat Larry's is a personal fave of mine and I always love Joey Negro's remixes...
The Blue Pearl track I didn't like though - didn't they do "Naked in the rain" as well ?! Much better track (in my opinion)...
Btw - I'm renaming this post 'Song of the Day' - hope you don't mind !!
