Anyone get to visit this club. I believe Black Frankie (as he was called to distinguish him from Frankie Beauchamp) use to DJ at one time.

Uptown Jersey City near Journal Square area. Was another name before or after it was called Wildchild. I'll try & find out info.

Wild child may have been know as a rock club formally as Popeyes + after Wild child known as Foxes.

sorry, spoke to some locals of Jersey city. Foxes was never known as Wildchild. Not many dance clubs were in the Journal square area or in Jersey City during the 70's or 80's. The other club/bar was several blocks away, which my school freind was a bartender at on Bergen Ave near Academy St + was next to a liquor store + newspaper stand. But, had a very very small dance floor + the place was small. Don't remember the name.
