Disco Deviance: Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco with special guest Leftside WobbleBased on the tradition of disco 're-edits’ by pioneers like Larry Levan and Ron Hardy in the US and Greg Wilson and Harvey in the UK, Disco Deviance is currently regarded as one of, if not the best disco-edit label in the world. With a roster of top class DJ editors that includes Greg Wilson, Ashley Beedle, The Revenge, Pete Herbert, Dicky Trisco and many more, DD consistently charge dance floors with top quality reworks that aim to keep good music alive. Pete Herbert (LSB and Reverso 68) and Dicky Trisco (Boogie Corporation) have produced some of the biggest releases on the imprint so far, as well as DJing together around the globe at Disco Deviance parties where they push their highly infectious take on the disco sound. Joining them behind the decks for this Easter Weekend showdown, and making his debut appearance at the Horse & Groom, is blogger extraordinaire and edit supremo, Leftside Wobble, who will be joining the dots between dub, funk, disco and house in his own very unique style

Feel My Bicep; Bicep are a duo that hail from Belfast, brought together through a common obsession with all things analog. Their blog, Feel My Bicep, has grown to be the first port of call for those searching for cutting-edge and hard-to-find disco (nu and old) / chicago-house / detroit techno / italo / edits and the like. Growing with an amalgamation of jazz, rock and funk helped Bicep form an obscure approach and understanding of music. After each picking up a pair of Technics turntables in their early teens, Andy and Matt set about collecting records and experimenting to find their own style. Skip forward several years and countless DJ gigs and they realized they needed to make their own brand- succumbing to, as Bicep describe it, “80s inspired analog house“Their first 12" on Citizen Kane's Ghost town records sold out within a week gaining worldwide support, whilst their debut on New York's Throne of Blood records, was among the most downloaded tracks on xlr8r.com (currently still highest rated) topped the charts on boomkat.com, and also made Tim Sweeney’s Favorite LP’s and Singles list over at Beats In Space! In addition to a busy schedule producing original tracks (look out for Bicep’s EP2 coming early 2011 on Throne of Blood, and forthcoming releases on Mystery Meat and a host of other labels), remixing, and DJing around Europe, Asia, and the US, Bicep along with their co-pilot Rory find time to update their, FEELMYBICEP.com, providing a window into the singular aesthetic that is Bicep.
