I can do this one! there must be hundreds, if not thousands of these.--
Frankie Goes To Hollywood-RELAX
George Krantz-DIN DA DA
Baltimora- TARZAN BOY
All of those songs were huge hits. Incredibly popular, highly requested songs by these ONE HIT WONDERS.

Frankie Goes To Hollywood Had "TWO TRIBES" also. A better dance track. More popular around the world than "RELAX". They are a 2 hit wonder!
addition to this post: from "Billboard/Hot Disco/Dance":
"RELAX" made # 20 in Jan.'84 (13 wks. on the chart)
"TWO TRIBES" made #3 in Sept.'84 (15 weeks)
"TWO TRIBES" was reported heavy in most gay clubs AND was a huge MTV Video hit.

I always loved C-Bank One More Shot
I don't think they ever hit as high a benchmark as that track.

How do we count the ONE-HIT WONDER? "ONE MORE SHOT" by C-Bank was the same people that did "REMEMBER WHAT YOU LIKE" by Jeannie Burton. Jeannie sang & John Robie did the music. To me it would be silly to count them as 2 different groups. That's like sayin' Parliament was a different group than Funkadelic. Or that Conversion was a different group than Logg. Or that Freeze is different than John Rocca. I think a ONE HIT WONDER should be relegated to ONE HIT period. There are plenty!

Right on T! Everyone you placed is a ONE HIT WONDER! Excellent!! ANOTHER ONE HIT WONDER: Babe Ruth-->"THE MEXICAN". This song was covered by The Bombers and by Jellybean. Both covers were good but they certainly do not beat Babe Ruth's original!!!!

NOT A FAIR ? TO ASK THERE WERE TO MANY 1 HIT WONDERS, SO ITS A MATTER OF CHOICE FOR THE PERSON AND HIS LIKING OF A SONG/'S ON WHAT HE LIKED, WE COULD LIST 100'S.

- rick james - superfreak
- pino d'angio - ma quala idea
- Mike anthony - swing your daddy

I may be wrong offcourse as I'm just a rookie, but I think these might be one hit wonders aswell...,
Hit parade in Europa was a little bit different then the hit parade in the us, no ?

well, I'm trying Pete. Just checking my vinyl collection in order to see if I can remember any other hits from them... As I'm only 32, I was not there, ( too bad ), but I'm learning here... I'll get on the internet today & start looking for the other Rick James' hit.
by the way, how about La Bionda (one for you, one for me ) ?
