So, in 1974, you know I was going back and forth with two copies of this now classic hit.

I had the honor of interviewing Mr. Bill Curtis (Drummer) of the Fatback Band on my show a few years ago. He is still doing his thing, shows and touring with the band. Willie Mitchell R.I.P. Gave us great music. Its pretty damn sad the radio stations don't play the real funk/ disco anymore. You have to go online, a club or a barbecue to hear real music. We need it back on the air again. Not on a TV commercial or dial a HOE advertisement.. What happened to our real music?

I'm back guys.
Lets bring the REAL music back to the forefront.

First Choice's Armed And Extremely dangerous goes very well today with the Theme From Black Belt Jones by Dennis Coffey
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvuI_vnpbuM
though I'm always tempted to spin it with the Percy Faith version of Enter The Dragon
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2PXziX6y-8
but that does not really work and make narrative sense as Bruce Lee only used his Fists of Fury, never arms as such. Mr Black Belt Jones however did carry arms... or did he?

HEY JUSSI, THANKS FOR ADDINING TO BITD, GOOD SOUNDS.

HERE IS THE JAM OF THE DAY FOR ME,
THE MOMENT OF TRUTH - - HELPLESSLY - -ROULETTE RECORDS 1975

AS TOLD TO ME BY JAY, THERE ARE SOME 45 SINGLES THAT HAVE WRITTEN ON THEM "TOM MOULTON MIX", MY TWO COPIES DO NOT HAVE THAT. AS I WAS TOLD THAT SOME MADE IT OUT OF THE PLANT WITHOUT IT.
LATER TO BE PICKED UP BY SALSOUL AND PUT ON A 12' AND TOM PUT A LITTLE EXTRA ON IT.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iG7Rh5ze-YA

ENJOY FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW IT, FOR THOSE THAT DO, ENJOY IT MORE.
