For the past 10 years I'm fascinated with crazy Swiss duo. But I never had any original
YELLO stuff, only downloaded. For years I've been telling myself that I can't allow that shameful situation to continue. But there was always something more urgent - artists like The KLF forcing me to collect every track they've ever created or MECO pushing me that I must hunt down all of his LPs still sealed. Finally, the
YELLO time has come.
Today I ordered 8 CDs and one LP, most of it manufactured in the first half of the 1980's! (Old CDs sound much better.) I have to order 6 more CDs and 2 LPs, but now I wanted to share this with you all, cause I'm really happy (or really crazy, depending on the point of view). I've spent all day searching and ordering discs in mint condition old almost as I am.
Now, how many of you love
YELLO? I mean - really love?
In my opinion, they're the most important musical act from central Europe - after Kraftwerk.
Two and a half years ago I talked to their manager and almost succeeded in arranging a meeting with them.
