Guys !!! That's just awesome ! Jay - I'm happy your gig went that great (maybe except for the Police interupting your gig) and that the SW worked out great for you. I guess it was quite a different feeling only using your laptop but again - it doesn't kill your back, right ! Pooch - It's wonderful to see the pic's with the old classic vinyl spinnin'. LOVE IT! And I just can't figure out how you managed to play all those tracks over the instrumental intro to "At Midnight" - hardworking DJ for sure... Both of you - AWESOME music !!! Can we get to hear the sets - or where they not recorded ?! Michael - Let me know when you bring the guys over... I gotta be there !!! Cheers guys ! Discoguy

Yeah, Paulie; POOCH was tellin it like it is!!!! The record companies had some nerve!!!!!
I dug that book. But there was so much more goin on!!! It needs 2 more books to tell the whole story.
Still pretty good reading though. I couldn't put it down!!!

Thanks Paul!! Thereis a lot missing from that book. I can tell you that with confidence!!! I spent 6 hours on an interview with Tim for the book. He left out a WHOLE lot of what I said, (i.e.) Dj's from Borooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, the clubs, my trips to England & Germany, my radio shows in Japan, the Record Pool, the Record companies, my time with Larry, Frankie, David, DefMix - - so much stuff. He basically did what all the others do, write about the city. But, I hope you enjoy it!
Nice laugh Jay!!!!!

Pooch Pooch... Even though the book is an enjoyable read, It seems that TL sometimes gives a one dimensional point of view. Not only did he gloss over all the interesting and valuable information that you gave him, it seems that a few more notable disco pioneers are a little disgruntled with TL's representation of them and the inaccuracies in the factual content in his book. For instance, it is well documented that Mel Cheron and Tom Savarese were a little pissed to say the least with the book!
