Stone - "Time" was a big hit for me when it came out in 1981 on West End Records. We used to play it a lot. It would always work the floor. No wonder really as Tee Scott was on the mix! It worked in hip hop clubs as well as the discos....a great dance crossover track. As a dj you could always have fun playing around between the a-side vocal or the b-side instrumental. The hardest part of that was, not only did the actual recording shift around in time ('scuse the pun) a bit due to live drums, but the a & b sides are recorded at different tempos! In all it's shifting tempo glory...... http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=0949 ... 49b5870170

Going back a bit...Belle Epoque had a hit with "Bamalama" as well, and interestingly, that track is getting a lot of play these days at cosmic parties.
