how come MSN-BOT-YAHOO-BOT etc. are online,but do nish for the site. are they spies. do they work for the russians. are they heavy metal freaks that want to see how normal folks have fun. when did they sign up,you cannot get a profile from them. are they surrogate users. someone tell me perlease. ktf. darren

They are (ro)bots that trawl the net 24/7 for info to go on their search engines. So yeah - Spies if you like, lol!

do they have permission to trawl this site. do they have access to the PM board. have they got our e-mail address,that's given as a mark of trust between the user and the owner.or are they sold to other websites for spam uses. a lot of sites i use don't have these surrogate users affiliated to them. just in case they mis-use the trust. ktf. darren

Hi Darren !
These "bots" should just be able to pick up the threads as far as I know...
You know - they index pages with key words and helps attract people to the site - for example, if someone might be looking for a special track and you had it in one of your shows, if indexed correctly then the user should get the Forum thread in his search result.
So - the "bots" should be harmless and they were around the old Forum as well - just that the program didn't show them back then.
So all should be cool !
