To all, if you remember, in the late 70's, Black Comedian, Redd Fox had a variety show. It was awesome. A guy named RAY JOHNSON was a recurring character, who made a joke of his name. "Oh, you can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay, or you can call RayJ, or you can call me RJ. or RayJ Jr.... BUT YOU DOESN'T HAVE TO CALL ME JOHNSON". 136 BPM on an RCA affiliate label, I believe. Or A&M? Not sure. But it was GIMMICK Disco at its best. I loved it! Wish I still had it! Good music, hilarious lyrics!! A good time!!

Alright, they may walk off the dance floor on this mix. I suck!
Adjust the speed control a little. And slowly. During the final break, "A Bang Bang". Some THP Orchestra, "A Bang Bang.. ". Wouldn't that be a great mix?? But, I would screw it up, it would go off beat. I would panic, freak-out, and take the needle off the record that was playing!! OH MY GOD! What Now?

If you were playing Stacy Lattisaw - "Jump To The Beat" it would hardly matter Ed
But you weren't, so we play on those outro guitars on THP Orchestra & substitute them with the squelchy keyboards from the intro of Debbie Jacobs - "High On Your Love"...........now, where's my whistle & gong?

I hate to play it, but cannot resist this mix:
The break of Debbie Jacobs match it up with the intro of "Born To Be Alive" by Patrick Hernandez---in a long 10 second crossfade!!
Whoop whoop!!!!

Since I'm on the turntables right now, I'll mix H.A.P.P.Y Radio - Edwin Starr, then Don't Let Go - Issac Hayes
Who's up next?
