Hi all! I have little cut from TV-show background tune. I think that i listened it early with lyrics like "guys do it". Seems like Village People.

You are right my Ukrainian friend, it is a song by the Village People, in fact it is my favorite Village People song, "Can't Stop The Music", from the movie by the same name. I believe you are hearing the instrumental version, which was NOT on the 12" version that Casablanca Records sent out to the record pools. This version could only be found on the Motion Picture Soundtrack. If I am wrong, it might be a cover version performed by someone else. But I am 99% sure that it is "Can't Stop The Music".-- PETE

Alright, we will figure it out. We will get DJ RAY J on the case. He is like a bloodhound, he will get the scent and find it. Be patient, It will take a few days to find it -- PEACE- PETE

I'm willing to give it a shot, but with very little clues it's going to be tough. Some of it sounds familiar, I can see why Pete thought it was the Villiage people at first. If you have any other clues, post them Like the year you heard it and even the club you heard it at.

Wish me luck!

I heard this tune for many times on radio (no RDS). This cut is only instrumental version. But I seems that lyrics refrain is "guys do it", male vocal. I searched similar in Village People discography. But it was not successfully. TV show subtitles at end don't mark that.

Difficult! It sure sounds like the Village People but...do keep in mind that Morali and Belolo composed many, many tracks and just created groups like the VP or Ritchie Family to get them released under a moniker. It is their typical sound but it could also be something out of a library. I explain: when Disco was at the top of it's success many movies, series featured those vibes, sometimes composed by the well known production teams, but sometimes those were especially created by composers who only did that: make a Disco-ish sounding soundtrack for some scenes. Remember Rinder & Lewis, Alec Costandinos. After they "quit" the recording industry they composed for Hollywood and of course their typical style re-appeared! If that's the case here, I'm afraid we'll never know unless you can provide us the title of the movie/series it appeared in.

I think that this tune not only the title tune from some tv-show. Because I often heard it on disco FM stations. I'm sure that this is release from some popular artist.
