FREE music performances in NJPAC's Theater Square! Tonight's performance features Brooklyn’s own DJ Delmar Browne, a 2005 inductee to the Discotheque Pioneers Hall of Fame; Haitian-born soprano Marie-Josée Lord, who blends R&B, soft kompa and light jazz with a twist of zouk – a unique mix performed in English, Kreyol and French; and Haitian singer-songwriter BelO, the recipient of Radio France International’s 2006 "Découvertes" Award in 2006, whose sound pulls influences from jazz, worldbeat, rock, reggae and Afro-Haitian rhythms.
Sounds of the City begins at 5:00pm and ends at 10:00pm.
