What would it take for you to play a request that you know will clear the dance floor and probably get a few WTF looks?
Be as specific as possible.

Only being thratened with the loss of my job & therefore my security. Other than that, If I didn't like the song I would not play it for any bribe.

From 1977 on, I did not take requests. I would listen to people if I had too, but I made my own choice. As far as losing my job, I have lost a club gig by not playing what the owner asked me to play. Also, I actually packed my records up and went out the back door of another club one night after getting the same bull. I left a record playing and left. Pooch

LOL Rayj! so, what's *your* price?
I used to absolutely hate getting requests but I noticed that sometimes people will make really awesome calls, and then it's a pleasure. mostly, I just don't like to be interrupted. so now I do listen to and consider requests (as long as they are polite about it) but I always make the final call (also, I don't necessarily *have* the track - the club library is pretty much a thing of the past).
