Of course the Hero of the Day must be - Chesley ”Sully” Sullenberger
The US Airways pilot who landed his AirBus in Hudson River in the afternoon of January 15, 2009 - after the engines went dead. Everyone survived!

I know what the passengers went through over these few minutes and what it's like sitting in a completely dead plane which is still in the air... Have been there in Dec. 27, 1991...

What "Sully" did is really something else and a standing ovation goes out to him today!

Claes, Disco-Guy,
You are telling us, that you are a member of the "Luckiest Guys In The World Club"? You survived a plane crash!?? WOW!! You are blessed!

I expect, that "Sully" will never eat alone on January 15th again. Never miss a Thanksgiving or Christmas Dinner. Because every one who survived, should invite this HERO to dinner as often as possible! I would. He would become my BESTEST friend. A TRUE HERO!!

"Luckiest Guys In The World Club" - well that sounds good. Maybe I am... Don't think too much about it any more. It more like when things like this happens I think about it and Swedish media wanna bring it up again.
But it was something else and I would not wanna be without that experience... (How sick doesn't that sound)

Once again - Great work "Sully"...

Have you seen the security camera footage? It shows a perfect landing, under the circumstances. I won't spit up, but I may never fly again!! LOL
