To me, the beginning of disco had the R&B but when the mid 70's started with the Latin beat in it, then disco got very interesting and it gained a lot more strenght as a new fad, and it really took off, in the mid 70's is when every one that had some money to launder or not, invested in a disco club , because that is when the music hit it's peak and all of of the sudden there were thousands of disco clubs in America and Europe, for instance, the Lime light, had a location in Hollywood Florida, Atlanta Ga. New York City, Chicago, there was one in Europe and I am not sure about Canada, but like this chain, there was a few more like bib daddy's that converted from bar to disco's and we were enjoying every moment and every one of these places in many ways.,
I am Landy and I approve these words. :!:

Yes, Latin was my favorite, because I was able to add more attitude to the dance with the Latin on it, and no Romeo and Juliet was nice, but it had it's boring moment's, from Love and Kisses, my favorite was How much I love you, I am not sure if that was the title, I do not have my hard drive here at home to confirm that.

I personally love chocolate, no racial slur intended, so I loved the early R&B inspired Disco. Stuff like MFSB and The Trammps were golden. Where would Barry White fit in?

the truth is that I heard your first one and I have downloaded it them all but have not heard any of them yet, between my injury and the rest that I have been forcing my self to get, I have done very little dancing, teaching or listening of music lately but I will and you will know what I think of it. hey has Jonathan logged on yet to receive my advice on dancing

Yes Barry White did cross the music boundaries to most of the different types of music in the disco years, but most of his music was Latin influenced and some Euro, but R&B was the least of his stuff, unless it was slow songs.

I was definately more partial to the Euro-disco sound than some of the hybrid R&B things from the early 70's.

Give me those tracks any day!
