Have to agree with the both of you...
They're all great labels !
Can't forget to mention WestEnd, TK and Vangard. Even Atlantic and Columbia released lots of good stuff...
Then there's other smaller labels like RedGreg, P&P (and related).
WOW. There are so many... Love them all !!

Keep it coming Chuckie...
You bring back wonderful memories of classic labels and their logos (and color settings like SAM).
There are no labels like that anymore - labels that keep giving you great music release after release. Well, there might be a few, like Dave "Joey Negro" Lee's Z Records. Bu there are not many and they're definately not as infuential as the classic Disco labels was back in the days !!

THANKS DISCO-GUY.HELLO EVERYONE.
WHAT ABOUT SALSOUL,BECKET,MIRAGE(ATLANTIC),
ATLANTIC,SLEEPING BAG,FRESH,EMERGENCY,
WARNER BROS. AND OF COURSE THE 2 ORIGINAL LABELS THAT SEEMED TO START IT ALL MOTOWN AND PHILADELPHIA..
IF YOU REMEMBER SOME OF THE "EARLIER" COMMERCIAL LABELS WERE POP OR R&B,THEN BECAME DISCO LABELS BECAUSE 1 OR 2 ARTISTS START RECORDING DISCO SONGS.
SOME SONGS WEREN'T EVEN DISCO,THEY WERE R&B,JAZZ OR FUNK RELATED TRACKS OR BANDS.WHICH ULTIMATELY BECAME "DISCO LABELS"...
I'LL PICK MORE OUT LATER ON. PEACE DISCO PEOPLE.

Can't forget VANGUARD. Remember them? Not enough votes cast for TK Records, that included Marlin Label as well. Paris International is another one. BUTTERFLY is another. ROULETTE in the early days! How about out of Canada UNIDISC!

I got one for you no-one mentioned. That is because very few people knew about it, very few deejays would go into New York City and buy the "records" that SUNSHINE Recording Studios sold. Remember the ACETATES??

From a consumer standpoint I loved Casablanca, Prelude and does anyone here remember the Megatone label at all?
