I went out for lunch yesterday with some old disco dj partners. 
We've not been seen in the one place together for 25 years.
We walked around looking at all the old club locations reminiscing about days gone by.
Lee was a mastermixer back in '77...one of the first ever to mix records & cut tracks up live that I'd seen. He would blow me away with his selections & mixing & programming. A great person to watch & learn from. 
He started playing in clubs in Australia about 1973 & worked up until 1979 when he stopped because he couldn't make a decent living off the wages for djs at the time which were atrocious. 
He also inspired Stephen to become a DJ as well.
Stephen & I ran record stores & ended up forming a partnership called DV8 Productions.
Stephen still does production & is re-aquainting himself with all things disco & hopes to join the site as a regular member soon

A lotta brotherly love, all bought about by the music.
Like Delmar puts it....it's all about the music & the connection.
That one point has kept us together all these years even though we live far,far away from each other.
