Tom is still mixing. And he has a lot of unreleased mixes of some of his classics that have made some rounds among the disco driven name jocks (Danny, Dimitri, Dave etc...). I chat every once in a while with him and try to get him to do mixes of some of his classics that never saw a light of day. Hopefully some will be released eventually. There are some Cd's out with different versions of some of his classics that you can search online I guess a google on Tom may bring up the CD's.

Yes, I've been blessed with more than a few of Tom Moulton's mixes these past couple of months.

Songs from Fantastic Johnny 'C', Jimmy Ruffin, Ashford & Simpson, The Modulations, KC & The Sunshine Band, First Choice, and more, that were not available to me, (even on a promo, back in the day), now have found their way in my playlist. They sound as new & fresh as ever.

Thanks to the DJs that like to share the music.
There is not many of us left from the 70's still around.
We have to make sure the music lives on and does not die with us.
Todays DJs are 'curious as hell' and passionate and hungry for our knowledge & experience in our history.
And it's thru this site (and others such as yours Hippie) that we can do that.

I've been fortunate to live thru the beginning of Disco, not only as a fan, but as a working DJ spinning every night in the small clubs;
before there was a Disco radio station,
before there was Dance music promotion departments at the record companies;
before 12" mixes;
It was a beautiful struggle,
AND it is an art.
An art that too many people take for granted.
(especially the youngins)

Thanks to Claes, Peter, DJ Ray, and the DD.com crew this site has come alive since this past July.
Thanx for contributing Hippie!!!!
Thanx for contributing Soul-Boy!!!!
Thanx for contributing Dancer!!!!
Thanx for contributing Pflex!!!!
You guys really make my day!!!!!

We need that!!!
I anticipate big things comin for us & for Disco Music in 2009!!!

THE MUSIC LIVES ON!!!!
