Tune is uploaded discoguy, here's the url

http://www.speedyshare.com/984131673.html

The other tune i have as an mp3 has already had a link posted for it. I don't know about peoples attitudes towards mp3's but i was thinking i might make a list available of my mp3's when i get my pc out of storage for people to request from at will and use speedyshare, or something else for downloading. It'll be strictly disco type stuff and all to my taste, so will never be definitive. Good idea?

Thanks

When I first heard this song in 1976 or so, I thought I died and went to Disco Heaven. The incredible introduction that adds one instrument after another, was the stuff of a Deejays Dream. Think about it for a second...... long enough! Playing some instrumental , then overlaying the introduction of "Get On The Funk Train"perfectly, on beat, that set up the moment. If the dancers on your floor had never heard the song, or if they had(really didn't matter, but was cooler if they never heard the song). When that final beat came, and your cut mix was perfect.... and the song finally took off !!! It was a moment that made DISCOS, Disco Music and deejays the kind of memories that last a life time. Those are the times of your lives that stay with you. And as a deejay, I knew that would happen. It was my RESPONSIBILITY to get it right. make the mix perfect and make sure that the listeners and dancers fully enjoyed it. Because thirty-three or so years later, they would still remember that SINGLE moment like it just happened yesterday. It was such a great memory of the fun times of their youth, that it lasted their entire life. THAT IS A GREAT SONG!!!!!!

What ever happened to these guys? They were so darn good, yet, this was it? I expected a lot more from them. Do you think they split into separate acts? Or changed their name? What became of the Munich Machine??
