Biddu also realesed a brilliant, incredibly well arranged big budget disco extravaganza called "Phantasm", credited to Captain Zorro. This theme from the 1979 Don Coscarelli epic focusing on lethal flying chrome spheres that stuck on people's foreheads resulting in geysers of gore was pressed on blood spattered yellow vinyl. Musically it is a great mix of Biddu's signature sound and the best orchestral stylings of acts like Amant and Boris Midney: vast amounts of strings, wide soundscapes, girl choruses, big-everything.

Disco continued well into the 80's in India. Many Bollywood movies feature tracks, recorded in the 80's but with that distinctive 70's sound. And Biddu was one of them. Like Pete said, after his star faded in the Western world, he became a big producer in India! Biddu is not everybody's cup of tea but he sure is mine, "Rain forest" is a pumper! And the theme track for the movie "The Stud" is one to check out, with that little excerpt from Cerrone's "Love in C minor" in it:
