I always loved everything this guy did. HANG ON IN THERE BABY was one of those songs that crossed-over. It seems that everywhere I went in the 70's I heard it. I did not know he wrote LA LA LA PEACE SONG. Those songs are in the same category. CLASSICS.

Lewis was named PRODUCER OF THE YEAR once or twice, and won himself a Grammy! That makes him a force of the Disco Era!

Englewood Cliffs had a record HOT BOX for a while. With the very successful team of HUGO & LUIGI, Van McCoy, and their BOSS Lady, Sylvia Robinson. I really let her down once. I remember it like it was yesterday. The IMPERIAL MANOR was re-opening, I invited her, she went. Problem was, at the last second, The Imperial Manor, three hours before it was to open its doors, decided that they did not want to share the liquor revenues with me. So the whole thing got canceled. She showed up, she was pissed, and never sent me another record or returned my calls. Even though it is over 30 years later, SYLVIA, my apologies!

That is a triple! Three great ones!, well actually FOUR! Of those four, I liked Vince's work the most!! All that Salsoul Era stuff really was fantastic. He is a hell of a musician too. Love it!
