My question are for a connoisseurs of Cerrone's activity.
Who can to clear up the information about vocal parts in Cerrone's albums?
I'm about all themes from 1976 up to 1982. The information about main vocal artist, background vocals are so scanty. Anyone except Jocelyn Brown.
My information sorce is basically www.discogs.com
It is a complex question. At different times there was a different artists.
Especially it will be interesting to hear some about main Cerrone's hits.

Valitrus,
I was never into who sang this,or who did what. But I know that you and many others are. And I am positive, you will have plenty of responses. I will simply grab my copies today at THE RANCH HOUSE(Where Old DeeJays Go To Spin) and tell you what they say! Big Mix party and BBQ on INDEPENDENCE DAY!! And you will all be able to hear our work here next week.

Cerrone used the outstanding vocals of a group of singers, better known as the "Birds of Paris": Stephanie De Sykes, Madeline Bell, Joanne Stone, Kay Garner, Sunny Leslie, Sue Glover, Vicky Brown and Katie Kissoon who also sang on records of Costandinos, Love And Kisses, Demis Roussos, James Last and many, many Disco productions of the 70's.
Currently he's working with Barbara Tucker and Katherine Ellis.

I was always blind to Things like that. At the time I really didn't care. I do now. But then . I just wanted to keep the floor packed, and CERRONE always did that. MADELEEN BELL, I never knew!! No wonder I liked it!!

I just got to post that I got the new Cerrone CD Love Ritual from iTunes.
Nice remixes that take older songs and freshen them up a bit. It's still disco, more so than some of the other Cerrone remixes in the past that I purchased.
This CD is AWESOME through Bose speakers!

From experience, all music sounds better through BOSE SPEAKERS. Big fan of them that's me!! As for CERRONE, I really loved his early hits. Loved his album covers with those hot women, but ....

Mike,
Gotta see some of the Covers that Cerrone has released throughout Europe. Maybe some of our friends over there know exactly which covers I am talking about, and show us!

Yes, Cerrone had a special love for using naked women in his covers, at least there was often bare breasts (in order to add to the sales I guess)...
Will see if I find any old covers...

I like the White version BOOM THERE IT IS, WHOOP THERE IT IS was all played out, while the white version wasn't well known. The video featured a gap-toothed, blue jean over-all wearing Red neck sitting under a tree throwing fire-crackers, and repeating "There it is" after every BOOM! LOL-- Seriously, It amazes me how prudish the US Government can be. This artwork is not allowed here! I could go to jail for selling an album!! I could, really. It would be a federal offense of inter-state trafficking of "Obscene" materials, carries a huge fine and jail time!! All it is, is a great Disco Album!!

But Pete, even these covers, the woman don't seem to be exceptionally warm at all. In fact, in their nude state I would rather think they are feeling a tad bit cool <grin>

You are a trip!! I bet if they were naked Studs, you would see the heat then!! Seriously, The Ohio Players had some pretty Sexy covers, but did not show a bare breast. That piece of flesh kept those album covers(Cerrone's) from ever making it to the US. There are probably hundreds of covers that are OUT-LAWED here. Yet, we could go to thousands of DISCOS around the States and see sex everywhere?? No wonder Europeans laugh at US!!-------------You know what really would have been something, if those women were Cerrone's vocalists!!
