This is my new post here about songs or remixes that ahead of their time when they firstly released!!!

1977 - Loleatta Holloway - ''Hit And Run'' (Walter Gibbons Mix)
A masterpiece!!!!Walter make the breaks longer even from the vocal parts of the song but he was right, after many years all the remixers copy him in this...
Maybe ''Hit And Run'' is the first real underground remix and by far very ahead of its time 8)

1978 - Giorgio Moroder - ''The Chase''
No comments, the Godfather of electronic dance music with a track that they still sampling after 30 years!!!

http://rapidshare.com/files/223666470/G ... _Chase.mp3

1979 - Martin Circus - ''Disco Circus'' (full length version)
A great release from France, maybe one of the best disco breaks ever, here in the unedited full extended version, remixed by Francois Kevorkian

1978 - Rinder & Lewis - ''Lust'' :D
During the mid to late seventies the production team of Laurin Rinder and W. Michael Lewis helped to define the Disco sound that was coming out of Los Angeles with studio projects as El Coco, Saint Tropez, Le Pamplemousse and countless others. At the height of their fame in the late 1970's they produced several concept albums as Seven Deadly Sins and Warriors under their own names Rinder & Lewis.

More ahead of their time songs:

1971 - Isaac Hayes - ''Theme From Shaft'' - Vocal Version
In 1971, with this song,Isaac Hayes set up the new standards for the dance music!!!There's no any other song around in that period to sound like ''Shaft''.Still a classic after so many years 8)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAa5rP64YbQ

1972 - The Temptations - ''Papa Was A Rollin' Stone''
The Temptations with the production of Norman Whitfield in another perfect example about the progression of the black music sound!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61U90Pqo-rU

1977 - Cerrone – ''Supernature''
Cerrone's best ''electronic'' song by far!!!Still sounds fresh today!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2pLwhd6y_k

1979 - Donna Summer - ''Sunset People''
From her album ''Badgirls'',this Giorgio Moroder produced masterpiece shows exactly how the modern electronic music of today could be!!!!
Unfortunely the european producers of ''Trance'' music (?) can't follow Giorgio's innovative spirit!!!

Dancer,

Trying to catch up here and what can I say but...
"Thanks To You" and "Ooh, I Love It" !!
All of these were really ahead of their time and it was fun to hear a bit of b-boy/electro stuff as well.
GREAT TUNES (as always) !!

Thanks !

You know my feelings on Shep bro!....
That dude was so ahead of his time with his rhythm techniques that I am sure he had a time-machine or something!...
