Dennis Parker was a Gay Porn actor. He died in 1985, after he committed suicide when he realized that he had AIDS. His porn name was Wade or Mike Nichols, I think. The Hoboken girls should know! Excellent songs Dancer.

PETE'S NOTE:: Ed Should know, he has the biggest XXX movie selection I ever seen! But Gay Videos ED???

Great Songs there George. I loved them all, but of course, Dennis Parker is a personal favorite. I knew the man personally. He was also an actor on the soap "The Edge Of Night". I was a stage hand. Met him more then once.

Wade Nichols (aka Dennis Parker 28 October 1946 - 28 January 1985) was an American actor and singer.

His first adult role was in the 1975 film Exploring Young Girls. He followed with films such as Summer of Laura, My Sex-Rated Wife, Marishino Cherries, and John Derrick's Love You. Nichols also appeared in the 1975 adult gay film Boynapped!.

In 1979, using the name Dennis Parker, he recorded an album of disco songs on the Casablanca label.

Also under the name Dennis Parker, he was known for playing Police Chief Derek Mallory on the soap opera The Edge of Night from 1979 to 1984. During the final weeks of the show, he was too ill to tape any episodes and, had the show not been cancelled, he would have been replaced.

So at the beginning, he was a straight actor, then a bi-sexual actor, then totally gay actor. Then he got dumb!! He loved "Glory Holes". Do you know what they are??
He committed suicide after he was diagnosed with AIDS.

Big Time PATO was Dennis Parker. He was constantly at all the Gay New York Clubs. And if you got head on 42nd street XXX theaters, through Glory Holes, Dennis might have been on the other side!! Yes, he was that and more. He did not, ever, use protection. So the rest is history.

These are really great songs. I partied all night, now all morning too. Thanks!!

First, Dennis Parker only made a few Gay Porn movies. He was a straight Porn Actor for years. Bet that both Ed & you have seen Dennis banging away. He was blessed with all that is needed for success as a porn actor. Second, This morning songs are very good. Jungle Fever was a classic. Some think it might be THE VERY FIRST DISCO SONG!!

George, this is fantastic!

Great songs this morning!!!

"JUNGLE FEVER" was an every night song even years after it came out.
When I first started spinning in 1973, it was a well appreciated oldie that STILL produced screams & excitement on the dance floor.

Vince Montana never wanted any of his stuff remixed by outside mixers.
(he was always rebuffing Tom Moulton from touching his productions)
His first remixes he did himself (Goodie Goodie, Montana Orch), and Salsoul Records gave Tom the "WEST SIDE STORY MEDLEY" to mix behind Vince's back.
Vince soon relented and in 1983
Shep Pettibone was given "CHICAGO BUS STOP" and turned it into the beautiful remix: "LOVE BREAK--OOH I LOVE IT"

It didn't stop us DJs from remixing his stuff!!!!!
(check your PM, George)

Sorry King C, no go. This thread is not open for everyone to add their songs. You gotta go to the deejay for requests, the deejay is your friend, George Siras! Please, don't make up your own rules.

BTW, Miami, does not have "dust" they have the real thing!!

Dancer,

Thank you for introducing to a great tune that seems to have passed me by.."Changing" - Sharon Ridley...how could I have missed such a great song...my education continues thanks to my European brother....

Could talk about "Runaway" all day!..A great track that could always guarantee a positive reponse, no matter what time of the day you played it.....Magical!

"Jungle Fever" one of the pioneer tracks of the disco movement. A track that still sounds fresh to this day, can't fail to get you to the dancefloor!...

Great choice of music George, something for everybody's taste. You never fail to deliver and you must be in the frame for a pay rise now!
