Life on Mars - Dexter Wansel. OMG SYNTHS, plus a super phat bassline If You Could Read My Mind - Viola Wills - a classic - just can't get enough of those trumpets Somewhere Beyond - Hi Voltage - super spacey and OMG BASS You'll Never Know - Hi-Gloss - sleaze, and the best kind too... likewise: Crazy Love - Alton McCain & Destiny Hot Butterfly - Gregg "Bionic Boogie" Diamond (just learned he also wrote More More More) Can't Be Love/Do It to Me Anyway - Peter Brown - super sweet early electro, from a master

Soul-Boy,
Right on - that's an awesome compilation. The second release in the series is also goo - but it hasn't got the same quality (not in my book at least). Club Connection 2

Man...you got some great 45's there Jay..
Sort of brings back sad memories for me in a way.... Back in 1984, I sold my collection of around 1100.. 45's for a fair price.. For some reason back then, I thought I would be able to replace them all by either 12" versions or from compilations. I thought for some reason, that this was the way to go, a bit like replacing your VHS tapes for DVD's so to speak... I look back now and realize what a fu*%ing idiot I was..I did'nt even need the money at the time...The collection had Staxx, Tamela and loads of disco/soul original pressings.. What a dunb f*%K I was..... NEVER! NEVER! sell your vinyl!... You live and learn...I put it down to being high at the time..Lol
