Hi all,
Being a relative disco newb, and only 29 years old so missing the disco show, i'd love to know what everyone is grooving on this and any week so i can find out about new(old) tunes and fuel my growing obession, and maybe yours too. Hopefully this post will lead to more than myself finding a few gems they'd never heard before. So please post regularly to spread the word.
Anywho, in the spirit of the topic and to start the disco ball rolling, here's a few tunes that have grabbed my attention this week:-
Brainstrom - Lovin Is Really My Game
THP - Too Hot For Love
Mighty Fire - Love Fantasy
Main Ingretient ft Cuba Gooding - Evening Of Love
Sharon Redd - You Got My Love
Hi Voltage - Somewhere Beyond
Cerrone - Hooked On You (Is Cerrone pronounced with a CH or an S??)
Southern Exposure - Heading South
Cloud One - Disco Juice (One of my all time faves and my ring tone )
Thanks for reading, and any contribution is much appreciated!
Not sure if this is the correct place for this topic so i'm sure DiscoGuy will move it at his discretion if need be.

Hi DJtastic & Mikele,
Both of you list some great tracks...
By the way - regarding the Hi Voltage track - check the flip "Let's Get Horny"...
Have been playing lots of music lately and can't remember it all. I pull 12"singles out of the shelves daily, but I have been playing stuff like:
Ashford & Simpson - "Bourgie Bourgie"
Bigfoot - "Watch Your Step"
Dimitri from Paris - the "In the House of Love" 2 x 12" release with his remixes of Cerrone, Originals, Fat Larry's Band, Grace Jones and others.
O.R.S. - "Body To Body Boogie" (one of my alltime favorites)
More might come...
Disco-on !

Nice one!
Plenty of stuff i haven't heard there. I'd love that Hi Voltage tune on 12", unfortunatly Somewhere Beyond was passed to me as an mp3, i think i'll be browsing Gemm or eBay for that one though. And the Dimitri From Paris album is highly recommended, if only for his re-edit of Down To Love Town by The Originals. Truely sublime! Also check his new one out, Super Disco Friends, a quality 2 cd disco mix by Dimitri and DJ Muro.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback, i'll post another juicy little list soon to wet your lips and see if we can get some more contributions.
Many thanks

I think it's about time to post another list. It's been a couple of weeks and the groove thang has been twitching. So here's what's grabbed me by the unmentionables and had me wanting to thrust my hands in the air in delight
King Errisson - Well, Have A Nice Day (Totally kickin!)
Gladys Knight - Taste Of Bitter Love
Poppas - Hook Up Together
Macho - Not Tonight (Dim's DJ Friendly Edit)
Might Fire - Love Fantasy (Still in the list. Damn i love this tune)
Taka Boom - Night Dancin'
Frisky - You Got Me Dancing In My Sleep
Class Action - Weekend (Larry Levan 12")(An all time fave, i love singing along to this)
Spargo - Head up To The Sky (Mmmmm, warm and fuzzy)
Aquarian Dream - Disco Juice (Another kicking tune)
Harvey Mason - We Can Start Tonight (In a word, UPLIFTING)
George Benson - Love x Love (Cos it was in my dream last night and i've been singing it all day)
Ndugu & C.J. & Co. - Send Your My Love
Rene & Angela - When It Comes To Love
I think i'll leave it there, starting to get a bit carried away, hehe.
Thanks for reading and any replies, and i hope you're all well.
Stay safe

WELL HAVE A NICE DAY was one hell of a song from one hell of an album. A "Hidden Gem" of a song that consistently packed Dance Floors in every DISCO that had a deejay smart enough to play it!!

To ME!! It is over-rated, as is anything to do with PARADISE GARBAGE! I mean garage!! Joking!!-- So if you want to impress me, tell me that all the smaller clubs in The Big Apple played that song! The smaller clubs ROCKED!! Cheaper too. $$$$ means and meant everything! Have a great night out with $100 instead of a $1000!! Get the drift!---- SHINE ON SILVER MOON!!! That is a CLASSIC!! Under-rated!! And if I can't smoke that joint, what good is it!!
