DISCO OR JAZZ

What exactly are you referring to? Give me a title? George Benson? Spiro Gira? The Crusaders? Patrice Rushen? Chuck Mangione? Gato Barbieri? Hamilton Bohannon? Miles Davis? Quincy Jones?...........

I played a lot of George Benson. Every thing that he put out that was popular. I also played a few cuts by Maynard Ferguson. Then of course, I played DAZZ, disco Jazz out of Atlanta. MUZIK as well. Early on, HERB ALPERT had a few. Jazz Vocalist Patrice Rushen, FORGET-ME -NOTS & HAVEN'T YOU HEARD. I guess the longer one thinks, the more Jazz I can come up with. MONGO SANTAMARIA and CANDIDO were JAZZ greats that had Disco songs too. What are you specifically looking for?

WOW Roy Ayers!! What a great song that was, is! RUN RUN RUN. I would still play it today, if I had it! Victim to the 30 years of moving and records getting damaged. I did not know that COME ON AND DO IT was from a JAZZ artist. BOY Disco music captured the very best of all genres of music didn't it!

Soul-Boy, we are talking about Jazz Artists and songs that got played in discos. I played an awful lot of George Benson and Al Jaereu. That AL, he had some fantastic albums, with many songs finding their way through my speakers!
