Karen Young's "HOT SHOT" would go very nicely with the segment "Too Hot" of the "Summer In The City" suite by O.K. Santiago - both even have almost same bpm.

Jussi, I never heard "Summer In The City" by O.K. Santiago. So I really don't know. What Did you guys mix with CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU by The Boystown Gang. It has been twenty-five years since I played it, until today. Next RH session I will use it. But mix it with what. You guys tell me. Which would be the best mix??

Here is one for you. The Pointer Sisters had many hits. But what did you mix before & after, "I'M SO EXCITED" ??

I remember mixing in "(CAN'T HARDLY) WAIT - Wang Chung 12"

I wasn't playing much at that time, so I didn't get to/have to play "I'M SO EXCITED" all that much. (didn't like it--on the F-town list)
I was more into "NEUTRON DANCE"!!!!

I'm so excited was like around 182BPM so anything on the half measure of that being 91 BPM may work although I did do it a few times successfully I can't recall the tracks @ the moment. :?

One that always worked was Hall & Oates - "Maneater".
Was really handy having the Disconet re-edit of that for a longer mixing intro. 8)

Thank goodness the Pointer Sisters track had a cold end.
You could virtually just drop anywhere after that. :)

There's many songs that mixed perfect with ''I am so excited''.Jermaine Jackson's ''Dynamite'',''Wait'' by Jacksons from Victory album,''Part time lover'' from Stevie Wonder, even ''Tell her about it'' by Billy Joel!

Hippie , that is 1980, around 130 bPM, more or less. I had dozens of options. But I do remember playing something by Peter Jauques and TANTRA. Different songs for different nights. As often as possible.
