MAN is still away so I thought I'd give you something we did back in 1986 for new years eve.
It's a medley of some of the biggest pop/dance/ songs of the year from an Australian perspective.
The Best Of 1986....... a DV8 Editventure.
Enjoy.

Starr date 9/10/2008-Captain's log:
It has been days now since our MAN has vanished in space, on his mission to DISCOver new planets, so I instructed Mr. Spock to materialize some music from the 70's. He gave us this one:
Juggy Murray Jones-"Inside America Pts. 1 & 2." I've decided to propose his findings to the whole crew here. On a personal note, I think that this track is rather rare, less known, but very groovy and has some Bohannon-esque ingredients. Enjoy!

That record is in some great shape! Not a piece of dirt, nor a scratch. Perfect! You take very good care of your records! As for the song, it is very rare. And, at one time in my life, I actually owned it. I did not play it. I can tell you it is NOT part of my furniture.

Not so rare in The Bronx. Back in '76 we were ALL playing it. This is one example of a song that starts off on one speed and finishes in another. I'd say this song starts around a 118 BPM and ends off at a 125. Many songs from this era flunctuated in BPMs and were a bit harder to mix if you wasn't paying attention. In '77 they released a 12" with Pts. 1+2 edited together nicely. I used to mix "CATHEDRALS" right behind it. (crowd screams)
GREAT TRACK MR.SPOCK!!!!!

$%*# Me!
How good was that?
I've been missing out.
Never heard of this before; but rest assured, if I had, "back in the day" I would have torn roofs off with this sucka!
Thanks for sharing.

Not A bad song. I never played it. For two reasons. It wasn't strong enough. second, I do not remember ever having it! Tough to play if you do not have a copy!

This is a fabulous song. I loved it, and so did everyone else. This is when Whitney was at her best. Great, great song! Welcome back MAN, we missed you!

This was her best time. No Bobby Brown, no crack. Just great music. Between this song and I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY, she was on a roll. Great job MAN, keep it up! This turned this PINK LADY on!!
