ROD STEWART - "DA YA THINK I'M SEXY" (1978)

Even the great JIM BURGESS could'nt restore my faith in this crock of S**t!

SHEENA EASTON - "MORNING TRAIN (9-5)" (1980)

Pete thought she was hot....but this track was not!

YUK! & DOUBLE YUK!

THOUGHT!! She still is hot! This song, the first time I heard it, I loved it but realized that NO WAY could I play it. Then I got me a second copy!! I played my version, and guess what!!.....

It failed miserably too!! But SHE WAS and IS HOT!!
As For DO YOU THINK I'M SEXY!! I not only played it, but remixed it to death, and it sounded great. But I too, couldn't stand that song. I think Rod has a better voice, suited for ballads!

"MORNING TRAIN" is not a club tune. It would probably do ok in a karaoke bar. (maybe) This tune is really for a stay at home sweet wifey. Where her husband is all she knows.

I'm back today on the hate tip!

RICE & BEANS ORCHESTRA - "THE BLUE DANUBE HUSTLE" (1978)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_igP2DMytc

...what the f**K were they thinking!...This has gotta be one of the worst disco records of all time....this travesty of disco could give ETHEL MERMAN and her disco album a run for her money......somebody pass the Yuk! Bucket.....

PET'S NOTE:: This is one of my favorite albums LOL -The same people behind Celi Bee did that album in 1976. I find it entertaining, but not very good.

This song was a staple at all PATO clubs in the 70's! So I still love it, it doesn't belong on this thread!

One man's garbage is another man's gold

Opinions differ...that's why we have a forum...

Saying that....just save that track for the car....yeah! thats right....stick it in the boot.....because that record is a crock of s**t and does disco music no favours what so ever!

PETE'S NOTE:: LOL HA HA HA HA!!

What can I say...

TACO - "Puttin' On the Ritz"

AWFUL ! But yet you can sing along with it, which make things even worse...

gui2001,

Sorry about the Bonnie Tyler track as affraid the UK was responsible for that one but you can keep that one for Brazil...our pleasure!...i insist!..LOL

As for more disco brain trauma...i give you a track from 1983 that probaly should be posted on the ONE HIT WONDER thread as well. Love it or hate it..i give you..

RYAN PARIS - "DOLCHA VITA" (1983)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KopZp8AwHCc

To think this was a hit all over Europe..
I rather stick some of Tiger-Lee's needles in my testicals than listen to this crap!

Another culprit that deserves to be included.

Slimline - "If You Can Dance, You Can Do It." Prelude 1982.

The b-side is not that bad as it's an instrumental but this track was a hit in clubs & gyms out here in Australia. I sold many copies & played it many times.

I feel ill just thinking about it................ :x
