Post subject:  The Flying Saucer

In San Juan, Puerto Rico, there was a club, called I believe, The Flying Saucer. It was in the Shape of a flying saucer. And the deejay was Victor Flores. This club was always packed, and the combination of DISCO, Latin Disco and Salsa was extremely impressive, since Victor beat mixed them. Not even you Pete did that!

Ed, may be you didn't hear Pete do that. But I sure did. I think he may have been the first to do it. It was around 1983 when he mixed Wilfredo Vargas " El Africano" with some disco or dance song that the name evades me now. But rest assured that I did hear him do that.
