Again this is Barry lederer.
I was fortunate to be part of a Company called Graebar Productions, which installed the sound systems for numerous classic clubs during the 70's.
They were 12 West, the Anvil, and our best The Saint in NYC
In San francisco, we did Trocadero Transfer
In L.A.-The Probe
My partner in crime, who was the the technical genius was Peter Spar, a college fraternity brother of mine.
We had enough influence to bring to the attention of the owners of these clubs to Jimmy Stuard who played at 12 West-a genius who unfortunately was accidentlly killed in a fire.
He in my opinion, he is one of the top DJs ever.
We also secured Bobby Vitteretti at Trocadero, where he became of the the top DJs and won the Best DJ from Billboard at their conventions for 2 years.
More to come on these clubs

|Post subject:||The Jersey Shore|
From Atlantic City to Asbury Park, the New Jersey Shore line was full of DISCOS on the Boardwalks. CHEZ PAREE in AC, Sundowners in Seaside Heights. The list goes on and on. They not only had local traffic, but on the weekends they would get thousands of people from Philadelphia and New York City. This always made for a great time. I remember passing out in the back seat of a 1971 Malibu after a long night, then waking a few hours later when the crowds would arrive for a long,hot day at the beach. Incredible times, party all night, party all day!!

IF YOU WANTED TO TAKE A DATE TO A FABULOUS CLUB FOR DINNER AND DANCING IT HAS TO BE TUTTLES IN THE CHARTTER CLUB , THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND THE MUSIC WAS AN EYE OPENING EXPERIENCE EVERY NIGHT . IT DID'T HURT WITH THE LADIES WHEN THE D.J. WAS ALSO ONE OF MY CLOSEST FRIENDS. ( THANKS PETE )
NOW THAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH MEMORY LANE , ONE OF MY FAVORITE CLUB IN THE 70 'S WAS THE 747 IN MIAMI SPRINGS , TALK ABOUT A FEMALE FACTORY , GUYS THAT WAS BLISS HEAVEN. THEY ALSO ROCKED ACROSS THE STREET IN THE BRAZERIE , WHICH MAINLY HAD LIVE ROCK BANDS. BUT PLENTY OF CRAZY BROADS.
