the "garage" was the best club experience of my life...
from the "punch" the theater, the roof,the stage...to larry,larry,larry taKING ME TO ANOTHER PLACE..YEAR AFTER YEAR...
thankfully i had a chance to get to know the man and watch him perform his magic...
opening week was like opening day coming for baseball....
and that ramp...the beat piercing your chest...you couldnt wait to turn the corner and just feel free as a bird...it was a crime to close that mecca...
i still have my membership card as a momento...

Many tunes came originated in the Garage. Howver, some had their birth in the Fun House. Many of both clubs music, can be argued by many that it came from 1 or the other club.
